To take an example, if we had to consider the Health, Safety and Enviroment (HSE) your results are measured in the rate and the gravity of incidents and accidents (F0, F1, F2 etc)
In terms of process we look at three things:
the map: organisation and strategy - the HSE breakthough objectives, the Hoshin Kanri alignment in all the others areas (new projets for example), the ideal workspace, the required strategic skills training plan;
the driver: management system - competence level, skills development, training plan, new employees, visitors, suppliers training, safety Dojo etc, 5S management, safety routines, safety action plan execution, safety awarness calibration, digital action plan, near miss management, top management involvement;
the car: industrial system - forklift usage, transport impact, pedestrian protection, CO2 footprint, safety mandatory rules, air, noise, egonomics design, automation usage, machine intervention design, layout design.
Both results and processes are first analysed for consistency and then compared by sector (industry, service and retail) benchmarks on 5 levels. This will allow us to indicate your Operational Excellence Maturity as bronze, silver, gold or platinum:
